Press release The human rights movement “Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan” in partnership with the film company “Tazar” announces the start of the competition on participation at International Festival of Documentaries on human rights “Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan”. The main festival goal is the proclamation of human rights and freedoms, the rights of citizens to have access to the politics and resources. The Festival is scheduled for October 7-11, 2014 in one of the cinemas of the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek, and in five regions of the country. Films that meet the concept of the festival are accepted to participate at the festival: films about human rights, women, children and youth, as well as the main theme of 2014 - The right to development, which stated in UN Declaration 41/128. Development is a comprehensive economic, social, cultural and political process, which aims at the constant improvement of the well-being of the entire population and of all individuals on the basis of their active, free and meaningful participation in development and in the fair distribution of created benefits. The State has the primary responsibility for the creation of national and international conditions favorable to the realization of the right to development. Film and television companies, creative unions, independent producers and any copyright holders on films submitted from around the world can participate at the festival. Documentaries completed years 2013 -2014 are allowed to participate in the competition.
