Pretty bummed to see that the City of Ottawa Kansas Municipal Government doesnt allow chickens within city limits on properties less than 3 acres. =( Theres been amendments proposed to allow it a handful of time in the last couple years and it gets shot down 4-2, every time. How does one go about proposing an amendment? I will totally end up down at a City Hall meeting, if it means I can push to get my chickens!
