Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said the slew of Cabinet changes announced yesterday will “see Singapore through our next phase of development”. Reiterating that Singapore is going through an “important transition”, Mr Lee said that he was strengthening the teams in charge of the social sector and at the Ministry of Health even as the Government invests heavily to expand and upgrade Singapore’s healthcare system to cater for an ageing population and growing healthcare needs.
