Princess Popstar returns in Chanticleer After last week’s ‘blip’, the ARC will have a competitive 11-race card. The feature event on Day 38 will be the grade three Chanticleer Classic, which will see beaten favourite in the NGC Derby Princess Popstar returning to racing. Now trained by Glenn Mendez, the Jamaican bred filly will be racing on the turf for the first time and will be ridden by Ricky Jadoo. Her main competition will come from High Octane and Soca Rhapsody in the 1,100 metres turf event. In the co-feature SFA National Stakes over 1,800 metres, the Mendez inmate Glorious Country can get back on the winning trail at the main expense of Dark Treasure and Market Rally.
