Priyanka Chopra, Varun Dhawan to Perform at Indian Super League Opening Ceremony Priyanka Chopra and Varun Dhawan will perform at the opening ceremony of Indian Super League (ISL) in Kolkata Oct. 12. The ceremony will be inaugurated by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Mukesh and Nita Ambani are slated to attend the event. Being the co-owners of the teams participating in the football tournament, Salman Khan (Pune), Ranbir Kapoor (Mumbai), Varun Dhawan (brand ambassador Goa), John Abraham (Guwahati), Sachin Tendulkar (Kochi), M S Dhoni (Chennai), Virat Kohli (Goa), Abhishek Bachchan (Chennai) and Sourav Ganguly (Kolkata) are likely to present for the ceremony too. The tournament will see 61 games, spread across 70 days. The league stage will witness 56 matches on home-and-away format, followed by two-legged semifinals on home-and-away basis again. The final has been scheduled for December 20 and will be played at a neutral venue. All matches will kick off at 7pm IST.
