Probably the wisest words that were ever uttered to me, came from a therapist. I was sitting in her office, crying my eyes out. . . and she said, So let me get this straight. You base your personal happiness on things entirely out of your control. At that very moment, my life turned on a dime and became one where I accepted my failures, accepted my successes, and stopped letting other peoples choices, and decisions, rule my own personal feelings. My wants fell by the wayside, and my true desires began to show themselves. Its ok to be confused, and its ok to be afraid, but its never ok to let confusion, and fear, dictate what you will, or will not, allow in your life. Sometimes in life you have to decide if the juice is worth the squeeze.
