Professor’s assassination: Registrar SU expresses deep grief, condoles with the bereaved family. June 7th, 2013 Sindh University (SU) Registrar Mohammad Nawaz Narejo has expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the killing of Prof. Syed Ismail Shah, who has reportedly been killed over land dispute in his village District Badin. In his press statement, he strongly condemned his murder and expressed his deep condolence his family members, saying the assassination of Prof. Syed Ismail Shah is an irreparable loss for the students of Shaheed Mohatarma Benazir Bhutto University Liyari as he was rendering his services there after getting relieved from Sindh University on lien. “We have come to know that Prof. Shah has been killed over old enmity of land dispute, we are associated in the grief of bereaved family, this is really an alarming news, a tragic thing; our faculty, officers and employees are mournful over the untimely demise of the Professor”, he said.
