PROJECTS SCHEDULER – FIFO direct Perth, Darwin or Alice Springs only The Role The purpose of this position is to facilitate effective project planning and financial control to the Projects Team. This involves the monitoring of project setup, cost reporting, ordering of materials and labour as required. Additional responsibilities include; preparation of weekly and monthly reports, budget costing and the management of contractors. Education & Experience: •Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior planning or project management role. •Tertiary qualified in Business Planning / Administration or related discipline is preferable but not essential. •Demonstrable understanding of the project management function and proven ability to administrate all aspects of the function. Skills & Abilities: •Demonstrated understanding of and ability to adjust to the nature of FIFO employment. •Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written). •Demonstrated competence in the use of all Microsoft Office applications. •Demonstrated competence in the use of all Microsoft Project. •Experience in SAP is preferable but not essential. •Sound analytical and problem solving skills. •Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of team or independently. •Competent at decision making and implementation. •Ability to step up and lead others when the situation demands. •Ability to improve the correlation between design and construction schedules and schedule control processes and the construction project.
