American style Prom events have become an essential rite of passage for many United Kingdom teenagers. They can spend months, even years, planning it with some setting their sights on expensive designer dresses, extreme makeover regimes and luxurious transport. Prom Crazy: Frocks and Ferraris follows a set of teenagers as they fret over their dates, drain their parents’ pockets and prepare and pamper ahead of their big night and as the evening itself unfolds.
