Promote Nation-Building, Omowole Urges Media: Promote Nation-Building, Omowole Urges Media NAN — Aug 27, 2014 | Leave a comment The National President, Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Mrs Ifeyinwa Omowole, on Wednesday urged journalists in the country to promote nation-building in their reportage. Omowole told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that negative reports about the country could tarnish its image. “Let all journalists join hands and build this nation instead of promoting wrong information and bad image. “When there is division, unrest in a nation, everybody will bear the brunt. “Let us value what we have as a nation. I am proud to be Nigerian and if I have the opportunity of coming back to this World after death, I will be a Nigerian,” she said. “We must write to promote unity and peace in Nigeria.
