Prophet Khidr AS ... THE MYSTERIOUS PROPHET Islamic Stories In the apostolic era Moses, a prophet named Khidr life. Its origin is not clear. The man was also a prophet. Knowing this, Moses suddenly wanted to sit on the person. He was eager to seek knowledge and increase his knowledge. O God, where can I meet this person? I want to meet him and learn from him, Moses asked enthusiastically. Moses himself is known perks as a prophet who spoke directly to God without an intermediary angels. God had showed Moses a place where people can meet the knowledgeable. In a meeting between the two oceans, so the location of the scientist. To be more confident and no one recognized him, Moses asked for the persons identity. God had commanded Moses to bring a fish in a container of water. This time Khidr not do anything unjust in the country, he actually repair the walls of a house which almost collapsed. Moses was amazed by the knowledge that Allah taught Khidr. It is not I do this on my own, said Khidr which shows how much he has tremendous knowledge of the grace of God. The journey of Moses and Khidr told in the Quran Surah al-Kahf verses 60 to 82. Prophet also tell the tale in a Hadith narrated by Ubai Ibn Kab mentioned in Saheeh Al-Bukhari. Ibn Kathir explains the story in detail through the hadith. At the end of the hadith, the Prophet said, We hope, be patient with Moses virtue which God might tell us more about this story, May Allah bestow His Mercy on Moses, the word of Allah. As for the al-kitab or the Old Testament, Kheer figures not mentioned even though the story happened in the Children of Israel. But, some of the scholars of the Children of Israel assume, Khidr is Elijah or Ilyas. Some of them are also known as St George Kheer. In the book Mystical Dimensions of Islam works Annemarie Schimmel, including the story of Khidr and referred to as a highly conserved and has not died so far as the Prophet Isa. But the legend of the eternal Khidr seems just fairy tales.
