Proverb for the day 12:15 “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise”. This is a recurring truth throughout Proverbs! The fool sees from one perspective alone, his own, therefore his path will always lead down. When our way is right in our own eyes and it is the wrong one, we are certainly on the way down. The fool imagines himself to be humble when he is proud, generous when he is selfish, spiritual when he is worldly, and a son of God when he is a child of darkness. He opposes all instruction and correction and his attitude is that of rejection. He is so far down in his thinking he may never come back up. But those who heed counsel are wise and on their way upward. The wise is opposite of all that’s true of the fool. He welcomes counsel and his attitude is of a disciple and he desires all the lessons of the Divine teacher my friend. Pastor Gary
