Proverbs 31:9-...defend the cause of the poor and needy. Luke 9:58-.....the Son of Man has no where to lay HIS head. James 2:6-..is it not the rich who oppress you...? This morning around 6 am an Anaheim police car and SUV pulled up with lights shining bright to awaken and harass the homeless who were resting in Maxwell Park, where at this time the park was open. My question, What are they doing even talking to us? We were not in violation of the law. One of the homeless women harassed in this video was recently released from jail for having a shopping cart, and released without her property. She is rail thin and has a mental disability, and truly it is a shame how some of Anaheim PD are treating some of the homeless(especially Srgt. Aryan who is in this video). I confronted Srgt. Aryan regarding his lack of sensitivity to those in need, and he and his partner simply walked away as you will see in this video. Please pray the hearts of the police and judges are changed, and pray GOD protects us as the homeless and I occupy Maxwell Park tonight also. There is no where for us to go, and two other officers said we could sleep at Maxwell Park recently, and I have this on video also as some of you know. I am hoping to get many to city hall tomorrow to speak for the homeless around 5pm, and if you can help Myra DeCarolis with gas that would be great since she does want to go (but is low on funds and homeless) and I am hoping to ride with her also unless I can get a ride some other way.
