So I played a prime time set last night for the first time at Hopscotch and I am ecstatic about this accomplishment. I was terrified and train wrecked the first couple songs but after getting over my anxiety, the rest of my set went as well as a newbie couldve hoped for. Hearing yourself live and seeing people react to your music in a positive way is unlike any experience. I know that my set was not perfect but I am confident that I can only get better with patience and practice. I want to thank Linh and Robert BobbySoul Mc Lachlan for always believing in me, my instructors at Scratch Academy for teaching me the fundamentals, my friends who surprised me by coming out and the random dude that tipped me 5 bucks for playing Time of the Season by the Zombies.
