Psalm 2. God is our God, if we will be His people. Everyday, we see and encounter circumstances and problems that may upset or dishearten us in our Christian life. However, this does not mean that God is no longer with us, that He has moved away or finds Himself busy with other things, other people. Friends, God is always with those who are His. We can never be taken from His Hands nor ever cast away. As Gods chosen, we may rest assured that He will always keep and provide for us. His provision may not come at the moment of desire or in the way or means by which we would expect, but our God is Faithful in His provision. There may be times when we feel threatened because we are Christians, but God will never allow harm or destruction to come against His people. Indeed, when others believe they have the upper hand against us, or feel us to be at their mercy, God will never allow us to be driven to our knees other than for Him. Friends, God will always proclaim His Faithfulness and Protection to His elect, driving fear into the hearts of those who would seek our harm in any way. And in all this God asks that He be our focus.
