Psalm 44:8. In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name forever. Thought for the Day: Let Your Boast Be Of God And Not Of Yourself Reflection for the Day: Praise Him Today, Tomorrow, and Forever The Psalmist reminds us that it was the Lord, not the people, who delivered Israel out of Egypt. It was not the bow or sword that saved them from their enemies, but the power of the Lord. It is the Lord that should be praised. Their boast was of God and not of themselves. As the Lord continues to bless you, it is only proper that you praise Him. All of your victories come not from you but from Him. Let all hear that you know He is your deliverer and not yourself. Make a boast unto the Lord.
