Pub Quiz Update: It was 1980s night ... since I spent the 80s resolutely ignoring 90% of what went on in pop culture, I knew I was going to be as worthless as 5 gallons of cat shit in a 3 gallon bucket. Thankfully Tara Leblanc, Marsha Christian and special guest G-String Devin McCann Preston (on loan from Whos Doin Lewis ? because they had no room at their inn) knew that stuff in spades. I did provide the all important writing instrument, and about 1.5 correct answers. Answers that I only knew because the subject matter irritated me so much back in the day when it was freshly produced bullshit that I cannot forget it entirely. The costumes were fun ... especially Devins just got back from my Jane Fonda workout look. I was a big fan of the Peter Fonda Workout ... wake up at noon, smoke three joints, then drive over to my sisters house to beg for money. (Cant remember the comics name who came up with that one.) Good fun and great wit flying about as always. Best fun of the night ... sitting back quietly watching my teammates try to identify lyrics from 80s tunes that had apparently gotten their blood pumping back in the day. They had to sorta sing em to each other as they bounced in their seats to the beat. Maybe you had to be there ...
