Pull-Apart Cinnamon Loaf Ingredients 3/4 cup milk 1 pkg active dry yeast 1/4 cup melted butter 2 Tbsp sugar 1 egg slightly beaten 1/2 tsp salt 3 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 cup melted butter 3/4 cup sugar 2 tsp ground cinnamon Instructions Heat your milk until it reaches about 105 degrees on the stove top. Add yeast packet and stir until yeast dissolves. Combine 1/4 cup melted butter, 2 Tbsp sugar, egg, salt, and dissolved yeast. Once combined add 1 1/2 cups of your flour and mix on low speed until its all mixed together. Once its blended well, mix on medium speed for about 3 minutes. Using a spoon, stir in the remaining 1 1/2 cups of flour. With floured hands shape your dough into a ball and place into an oiled bowl. Cover with a light cloth and let sit for 1 hour to rise. Once it has doubled in size roll out on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle (or large oval like a did ;) You dont have to get your shape perfect... Brush on 1/4 cup melted butter. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle of the buttered dough. Using a pizza cutter (or knife) cut your dough into 5 equal long rectangles. Stack your rectangles on top of each other. Cut across your stack of dough into 5-7 stacks. Grease a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan and loosely stagger your stacks in the pan. Cover your dough and let rise for about 1 more hour or until doubled in size. Be sure not to let it sit out for much longer than this because of the raw egg that is in the dough. If you dont want to cook it yet you can always let it sit in the fridge for a while. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes or until brown on top. Remove and let cool for 10-15 minutes. Remove from pan and drizzle with glaze. Glaze recipe: Combine 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, and 1-2 Tbsp milk.
