QUESTION Is it logical to think that the Universe and everything inside it came from nothing?? If you are an atheist, then what I’m about to say, you may not like. It may go against the way you have been thinking for a long time, maybe ever since you were young. I am not here to cause you any harm. All I’m asking you is to keep an open mind and think rationally and not emotionally. If you don’t appreciate what have I to say, then no hard feelings. :) We are all intelligent human beings, on a journey through life. In a world of such confusion and chaos, I believe that we should help each other and try to understand one another. At the end of the day we are living on the same world and at the least we need to be tolerant of each other’s beliefs. Most of the world today believes in a divine deity in some form. Jews, Muslims and Christians together form more than 50% of the world’s populations, and there are other religions that also believe in a higher, supreme being. Some people say they believe in God but they don’t conform to any religion. Others will argue that people who believe in God are wrong, that they are following something which is false. However, nobody including the world’s top scientists have ever proved that there is no God. They simply can’t, as there is no evidence to support this claim. So let’s think about it. If I was to tell you that I came across a mobile phone whilst travelling through a desert and that I believed it was a natural form of evolution. That the phone evolved from sand and metal and created itself. You would think, like any same person, that I have lost the plot. The phone no doubt has been created by human beings who were intelligent enough to design and create a devise which enables people to communicate with one another, despite being on the opposite sides of the world. So again, let’s think about it for a second, if the mobile phone is created, something that all human beings agree, then how can we believe that the universe with all it complexities just came into existence all by itself. It just isn’t logical to believe that. Scientists will tell you about the Big Bang theory, I am in no way disputing the Big Bang theory, all I am saying is that it happened for a reason. Think about the vastness of the universe, how the sun orbits around the galaxy. How the earth orbits around the sun, and how the moon orbits around the earth. What if it all just stopped for a 24 hour period, what would happen? Or what if the moon collided with the earth? The only explanation is that there is a divine and intelligent being that is controlling it all. An intelligent being, that not only controls it, but one who created it all. As the one who is intelligent enough to control it, must be intelligent enough to create it. Let’s take another example, the human body. If you think about the human body, with all its complexities, you will no doubt realise that it couldn’t happen by chance. In most bodies the heart is in the same place. The very finger tips of each human being that has ever lived upon this earth has been different. Different enough that a fingerprint can be compelling evidence to determine whether a person is guilty of a particular crime, or not. Could this all really happen by chance? There is no doubt, there is a divine being, who created everything that we can and cannot see. We were created for a reason. Every single person has a role to fulfil. We were not put on earth to follow our desires but to use our intelligence and question our very existence. Why are we truly here? You will have many questions. However ask yourself this, DOES THE QUESTION THAT U HAVE NEGATE THE EXISTENCE OF A DIVINE BEING? The onus is upon you to prove that there is no God, or to say you believe in the existence of a divine deity... Thank you for reading and may God guide you to the truth :) Ameen.
