QURBAN COLLECTION CAMPAIGN Thousands of families in Cambodia have to face Eid-al-Adha malnourished. With your help, we could change this. Allow us to perform your Qurbani and help feed some of the Cambodia’s poorest families. As practiced by the Prophet Muhammed annually, this sacred duty has to be fulfilled during the three days of the Eid ul Adha (on the 15th, 16th and 17th of the Islamic month of Zilhijjah). It is only in these days that slaughtering of an animal is recognized as an act of worship. 2013 Campaign We officially launched our 2013 Qurban collection campaign in mid-September 2013, as the Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated between 15th-18th October 2013. This year, your qurban will be sent to selected villages in and around Siem Reap city. The qurban slaughtering and distribution process will be conducted at the Masjid Ar-Rafee “Ah in the Tonle Sap area. Siem Reap. For the year 2013, the qurban prices are as follows: • Cow (per section) - SGD 120 • 1 Cow (full) - SGD 840 Payment Options As representative, we cut the cost of middleman and we heard direct to the Mosque. For that reason, we believe that we can channel your donation appropriately. We have representatives, who live in Cambodia and know the way around Cambodia, for that reason, we do not have to pay exorbitant prices to perform this act of ibadah. a. Singapore Bank deposit Since we are based in Siem Reap, our only method of payment would be via bank transfer. Our Representative, Mr Rahim Bin Kassim has agreed to use his account in Singapore to be used to help in the payment. This is a better method of payment, as it will reduce bank cost and administration cost.
