Qazigund , November 02 : Commercial Taxes Checkpost Lowermunda has seized bulk quantity of banned polythene 4200 KGs about 42 Quantials in Truck bearing Registration no. JK03B/3231. The truck was intercepted at the Commercial Taxes Checkpost and after thorough physical inspection of vehicle 158 bags of polythene was recovered from the vehicle and was seized along with vehicle.The polythene bags were inventoried and offloaded which are being handed over to the State Pollution Control Board for further disposal.Giving details Commercial Taxes Officer Checkpost Lowermunda Hamid Ganai said that the vehicle was put under physical check at the Checkpost and we recovered the banned polythene from it.
