Queen Meena stopped Mahadeva’s marriage troupe because the Bride-groom appeared dressed as an ash-clad mendicant with aghoris banging away, a defect in the eyes of Queen Meena. “In whose eyes, Rajamata?” asked Mahadeva. Over the ensuing days Rajamata becomes aware of Shiva Chaitanyam. There are two versions. One in which Mahadeva, out of love for Mata Parvathi in wanting to please Her parents, appeared as Kalyanasundaranaar, the Beautiful Bride-groom with Mahavishnu’s decorations. The other, Meenakshisundaranaar, in which Rajamata wanted Mahadeva to retain His swarupa. Truth is subjective and relative. You cannot always ask the other fellow to mind his business, but you can mind yours and walk your path. Stay away from this silly noise and turn inwards to the perfect actionless Subject.
