Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) has imposed a local fire ban until midnight Tuesday night (18/11/14). Local Fire Bans remain in place for the following local government areas: * Fraser Coast, Gympie, North Burnett, Cherbourg, South Burnett and Bundaberg. * Brisbane, Redland, Moreton Bay, * Goondiwindi, Southern Downs, Western Downs and Toowoomba. * Gold Coast, Logan, Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley, Somerset and Ipswich. Due to the current severe fire weather conditions across Queensland, multiple ground and air assets have been deployed across the State. The State Operations Centre (SOC) is currently ACTIVATED, Regional Operations Centres (ROCs) in Brisbane, South Eastern North Coast and South Western are ACTIVATED while ROCs in Central and Northern are maintaining a WATCHING BRIEF. There are currently *50 fire incidents across Queensland with over 140 resources deployed. Firefighters are conducting significant operations in order to protect properties.
