: Question: Dan and I were just talking about potential future vacations. Chernobyl and North Korea came up because theyre both fascinatingly creepy. Obviously, the conflict in the Ukraine would need to settle down before we visit Chernobyl. Id also probably wait until I resolved my ambivalence about having/not having a child as well. God knows theres still a shit ton of radiation in Chernobyl. North Korea would be fascinating. Of course the tours are extremely scripted and you dont get to ask the questions you really want to ask, but it would not be boring. I think I might have an ethical/moral concern about giving them money though. I’d feel like I was funding a terroristic enterprise. If you had to pick between Chernobyl and North Korea, where would you visit?
