Question For Some Narrow Minded Southern Nigerians: But Why Do You Want To Rule The Northerners If You Dont Want Them To Rule You? This hasnt got anything to do with Supports for the North or Northern Nigerians (they are Nigerians until Nigeria breaks up)...but to ask one vital question... If you dont want this people to rule you why for heaven sake do you want to rule them.? And if youre planning to rule them, how do you want to achieve this by calling them names; plus, they have highest numbers of states... (majority) Unless 19 Northern states are not 19? According Obasanjo, Chief Awolowo, the Yoruba leader of UPN lost the 1979 presidential election, not because the election was rigged or pre-arranged by him or the military (majority of Northern military brass were in support of him for the role he played during the civil war) but because Awolowo made a serious political miscalculation by choosing his running mate from an ethnic group that had waged a serious war against fellow Nigerians and by making Nigeria politics a south south affairs; which made Northerners felt threaten. (Not my Command)
