Question: I was watching a repeat of a cat documentary (called something like the secret language of cats) on the BBC. In it they were saying that, compared to many multi-cat households, feral farm cats seem to support and cooperate with one another much more than unrelated cats living in the same family. Their conclusion was that cats place a big significance on familial relationships and their unique family scent was the key to provoking this special bond. The only closely related cats Ive ever had were childhood litter siblings, coincidentally half Siamese, and they didnt really have much of a bond with one another. But has anyone else ever noticed that getting two litter siblings together is more harmonious than two separate kittens?
