Question: So there are ghost producers that get paid fees by a DJ - TopicsExpress

Question: So there are ghost producers that get paid fees by a DJ to make something that the DJ uses in his sets/claims as his own/has somewhat exclusive rights to. Can this fee-based relationship happen the other way around? Meaning, is it viable for a producer to just produce and hire different DJs to mix his music at shows, for a fee? Assuming that the talent buyers and club goers understand this. Contrast this to DJ groups where one dude produces and the other djs because they split the profits.
