Question for all: Im a new runner. Started training to run a 5k two weeks ago. Had horrible shin splints so I took a week off (which means I trained for a week). Sat I was determined to run for Meg so I got out and did 4.25 miles. Saturday evening and all day today I cant put any pressure on my left foot. It doesnt hurt to touch or if Im sitting still, only when I stand up and put pressure on it. Its mainly the outside of my foot...almost feels like a constant charlie horse when I try and put pressure on it. Should I continue to ice like I have been since Sat OR does it sound like something that needs to be looked at by a doc?!?
