Question for my nurse friends. Chris is still feeling very sick. This all started one week ago today. We cant keep his temperature down and as soon as Tylenol or Motrin wears off, it goes back up to 103. He is extremely nauseous, even with the Zofran. He has only eaten jello in 3 days. We are trying to keep liquids in him but he will only drink a little. I called back over to the ER and they said it was all normal but I feel he would be showing signs of improvement if he was getting better. Running high temps for this long worries me. Not eating for 3 days is not helping him build strength. Any advice or recommendations? Not sure what would be considered normal but this doesnt seem normal after 7 days. Thanks.
