Quick update this morning-THANKS SO MUCH for prayers and checking in. Was a rough night up until 5am. Thats when last dose of pain meds finally kicked in for me to get some uninterrupted sleep. (As mentioned I have high pain tolerance and low desire for pharmaceutical or medical help. So going to ER and coming home with meds and no real diagnosis a bit challenging for me). However, it was an option I got to choose from and I am getting to experience relief today with increased gratitude on gift of health and regular ability to move around pain free (instructions are to remain in bed next 2 days and not something Im struggling to abide by just yet, lol) Diverticulitis or ruptured ovarian cyst were what doctor scratching his head questioned as he discharged me. Pain is not on side of appendix and no stones or other issues revealed in scan. He said primary doc may order MRI if pain persists which would show more than the scan (questioned why they didnt admit me to do that this morn, but oh well) in the meantime, Im grateful Im experiencing some comfort. The view from bedroom window spectacular with the thick white majestic blanket Mother Nature dropped to wrap us in this morning. And I got to share a loving message with the father who did my scan last night. He thanked God out loud as I shared the get to message with him as well as my metaphor for Lifes surprise party and how we get to give thanks for every unasked for and unattractive gift were given. All will be (is) well friends! Thanks again for your compassion and support!
