R.I.P. -->GOOD BUDDY, Alvin Martinez, youve put up with a lot of torture when you were dating Chrissy Cody in the early 2000s and I tried to help you through thick and then during those years before you ended up getting helps from Golden West Community Services in Goodland. My family met Alvin in 1976 when my folks were in the process of buying a house just across the street from him and his folks and myself and my 2 younger brothers Kevin & Kelly grew up with Alvin as our neighbor. Then, when we got old enough to be able to leave the yard, we played football in the street for lots of years and both his folks and ours had to (***more or less beg us to come in the houses) when it was getting dark outside but of course we always wanted to stay out and play longer. When we werent playing football in the street, we were either @ the park playing football with some of Kevin & Kellys friends or going and getting a soda pop and chips and candy at C-Mart, delivering newspapers, going swimming or bowling and also while @ the bowling alley we would also play the arcade game(s) of Ms. Pac-man and eat @ the bowling alley. Ive stayed his friend over all these years. Weve been friends for over 30 yrs. We even saw businesses change their names, (when C-mart closed and became Kabredlos and then when Kabredlos sold out to Caseys) not to mention a lot of other businesses, while we were spending time with our good buddy....
