R.V.A.S. - Next Spay/Neuter transport August 13 The next Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Transport takes place TUESDAY, August 13. FOR REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION: Call (828)-640-7700 or (828)-728-8598 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM. This transport will take place from ROOSTER BUSH CHEVROLET, 2581 Hickory Blvd. SE (HWY. 321) Lenoir. Please bring your pet to the Service Dept. OFFICE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Your pet will be transported to Foothills Spay/Neuter Clinic in Catawba County for surgery, and will be kept overnight for observation. You will be able to pick up your pet(s) on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14th at 8:00 AM at the same location. Surgery Prices are: Dogs: $55 Cats: $40 (Additional charges will apply for females that are in heat or pregnant) ALL pets over the age of 12 weeks must have a rabies vaccine. Proof of current rabies vaccine must be provided or the vaccine can be given at the time of surgery for $8.00. Other vaccinations, tests and microchips are offered for a special price at the owners request. IMPORTANT: Pets in contact with other pets at Vet Offices or Clinics are exposed to contagious diseases: Dogs are at risk of Kennel Cough and cats to distemper. It is advisable to have your own pet vaccinated at least a week before surgery. Pets 6 years or older need Blood Work done before surgery. Pets should not eat after 10 PM the night before surgery; water is allowed. Cats or dogs age 4 months or younger may eat up until 6AM the day of the surgery. Cats come in a carrier, dogs on a leash or in a carrier. A Special Offer is available to those who wish to assist sterilize feral/homeless cats. The cost is $25 and includes surgery, vaccines and ear tip. Rejondo Valley Animal Society is a non-profit 501 c 3 animal welfare organization helping to reduce overpopulation of animals through sterilization. We are operated by volunteers only.
