RAMBLING OF A PANTHER CUB- A Little about Me Sanctuary has been my home for as long as I can remember. Alex Peltier has been my best friend ever since we both sharpened our teeth on the table legs as tiny cubs. My Pops ( Justin Jay Portakalian) is my hero. Even when he was away and I was angry I knew he had my best interest at heart. He didnt know the one he chose to be mother would abandon me without second thought. I know he would go through hell to keep me safe. Hes a great dad. The Bears took me in and gave me a haven while he was away. As soon as I was able I began my escapes into the Bayou. Talon caught me and in his indifference he gave me a place to escape to. Sunny mothered me when I let her. But, Sanctuary always called me back. I always knew Pops would return to claim me there. I havent always been a easy guy to like. *smirk* Hell, at best Im tolerable. My Kalliope sees something in me no one else ever has. She sees beneath the mask of this kitten and into the heart Ive tried so hard to harden. I shrug off life. Never trying to take anything too serious. Females a dime a dozen. A quick tup and out the door. No repeat performances. No strings. No ties..until my Oneori Goddess captured my attention. Pops always warned me to be careful and not get myself mated. *shakes head and grins* I dare say its too late. Kalli owns my heart. Someday she will bear my mark. Until then I will guard her from the ugliness of demons. I will become the Were that a goddess will be proud to take home to her Father. She just has to bear with me as I stumble my way. Im proud, stubborn and have a ego the size of the bayou I love. And a sense of humor that can be just as dark as its murky waters. I placed a promise ring on her finger. And by all thats were I aim to never make her regret her decision to trust a dark panther kitten like me.
