REACTION TO STRIKE - TopicsExpress

REACTION TO STRIKE Estimatingly, today is more than three months with the start of asuus strike. However, the students critical condition, the government, does not seems to have wanting to take any measure to settle down with asuu over the strike action. The students parents have dought that the government would manage to console asuu to resume to work so that, their children too will resume school instead, the government has adopted the system of no work no pay for the striking lecturers and this made the situation worse. In addition to that, those people that had been voted and entrusted with the countrys mandate had attended school before coming to the positions where they are today. So, they know precisely abaut the lecturers conditions. Some of them had been into the teaching career during their early years in civil service therefore, they should be the first one to recogonise education and the people who take care of it and they are also expected to provide nigerians universities with qualitative teaching materials for effective learning, instead, they sponsor their children schooling abroad and abandon less previlege one suffering in nigerians universities. Traditionally, the selection of a leader has often been based on the following qualifications; (1) the person to be selected should be wise for making decisions. (2) should be brave rather bold and able to respond to a situation. (3) justice and dedicative to his subjects at any cost; And so forth. But nigerians leaders do not possess anyone of the above mentioned qualities. They only know how to corrupt but not to correct. Similarly, the people are your power, without them u are a nobody and any counry where there is no people there will also be no leadership. And when the election returns they lie to people through their deceptive words, such as; government is for the people, of the people and by the peole, can u prove it is true? And how can you disprove that government is not for you the leaders alone? And why do u always attempt to turn the nigeria into your family house? (where only members of the family have the right to inherit everything) and u should have not fogotten that nigeria is not a one man property, every citezen has a right over it.
