REAL EXPERIENCE IN KOREA, INSTALMENT 31: OUTSIDE EATING Over 70% Korean vocabulary origins from Chinese phonic & there’s lots of words that have pronunciation nearly same as together. So, if you pronounce inexactly any word, it’ll lead to misunderstanding each other. For example: oê sík (Chinese-Korean meaning; oê: out, sík: eat) it means “outside eating”. There’s another word with the same pronunciation: hoê sík - (hoê: party , sík : eat), it means “enjoy party”. Many foreigners often pronounce these words incorrectly. In the outside eating time today, inviting all of you enjoy the bone soup of Korea. It’s the populated meal & interested most of Korean, so there’s many restaurants in business this meal & attract losts of customers with service time 24/24h. Coming to a restaurant that specializes in the bone soup at Dong Chun ward, Yeon Su district at noon of weekend & it’s the most crowded time here. The bone soup is often enjoyed with cabbage kimchi & beet kimchi, fresh chilli & carrot. The bone soup will be more delicious when it is boiled by temperature keeping pot like this. The soup pot is serviced with hot boiling noisily.
