RECOVERING JUST FINE: THE CANCER DIDNT HAVE A CHANCE- Im CURED. Thanks for all you Ozone Parkians wishing me well. May cancer surgery went well. After a surgery and colon/rectal resection for stage II rectal cancer, the tissue removed showed no sign of cancer: no tumor, no nodes. This is thanks to radiation and chemo being so effective that it eliminated the cancer before surgery. Seldom is Cancer and Cure used in the same sentence. I thank God and Science for that. I will still need another round of chemo and second surgery to reconnect my plumbing, but this is just perfunctory. Get your colonoscopy. It saved my life. There is hope with a cancer diagnosis.
