RECRUITMENT FOR THE TEACHING AND MISCELLANEOUS TEACHING POSTS FOR THE YEAR 2012-13 AND 2013-14. ****Total No. of Vacancies: 4043**** A) Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Commerce, Maths, Biology, History, Geography, Computer Science, Bio-Technology B) Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) English, Hindi, Social Studies, Science, Sanskrit, Maths, P&HE, AE, WE C) Miscellaneous Teaching Posts i) Librarian ii) Primary Teacher iii) PRT (Music) ----------------- Selection Process: Written Test and Interview to short listed candidates Age Limit as on 28.08.2013: For PGT upper age limit is 40 years For TGT upper age limit is 35 years For Librarian upper age limit is 35 years For Primary Teacher upper age limit is 30 years Essential Qualification: ►A) Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): i) Two years integrated post graduate M.sc course of Regional college Education of NCERT in the concerned subject or Master Degree in relevant field from a recognized University with at least 50% marks. ii) B.Ed or equivalent degree from recognized University. iii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media. iv) Knowledge of Computers is desirable ►B) Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): i) Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate or Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate. ii). Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. iii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium. iv) Knowledge of Computers is desirable ►C) Miscellaneous Teaching Posts > Librarian: i) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Graduate with one year Diploma in Library Science from a recognised Institution. ii) Working knowledge of Hindi & English. iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications is desirable. > Primary Teacher: i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent. ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. iii) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media. iv) Knowledge of Computer Applications. > Primary Teacher(Music): i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognised University. ii) Competence to teach through English/Hindi media. iv) Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications. ------------------- Application Fees: 1.
