While not all customers will be discourteous, you will encounter your fair share and it wont necessarily be your fault. Some people simply do not view customer service representatives or the company they represent in a very positive light. Strive as much as possible to be objective and poised during calls, and remember that for every client that is rude, there are likely to be a few who will be friendly ,easy to work with, and grateful for your help.
