REVO 2014 Custom bike REVO releases one 109 custom bike every year. In 2012, the release of both side exhausts white color REVO 9R was the highlight of that year, and it has remained its rarity until today. In 2013, we using racing fuel with REVO’s tailor-made exhaust and computer modification primarily to increase approximately 20 horsepower. In fact, the 2014 work had been finished in June, but we waited until the end of the year for its debut. This custom 109 shows our impressive capability of modifying the electric system of the bike. We removed the speedometer and tachometer from the dash board. However, we wasn’t simply disable the plug itself like most people did, we managed to retain all the signals lights intact and integrated into a multi-functional Italian dash board. Every signal light from turning, neutrals, high beam to FI and engine check lights as well as speed, rpm and ODO are all functional. We like to take on this kind of challenge to modify electric system. The electric signals in M109 combine analog, digital and electric potential difference. Thus, we have to figure out each and every signal in order to crack it; otherwise the FI error code of ECM will still remain on. As regard what is shown in the picture, we integrated that thumb-sized electronic instrument into the handle bar. There were about twenty wires been hidden behind the electronic instrument, and this particular procedure took me four days to accomplish. Additionally, the whole bike took me six months to finish which stimulating quite a few grey hairs of mine. The coloring of this ride is a very special Japanese blue beer color adding with glitter. The man responsible for the spray painting job had a history of training back in Japan. We basically gave him as much freedom as possible for doing his job, and it turned out to be a success when the customers saw it. We also applied some kit like Arlen ness handle bar, Highway Hawk foot peg, Cobra Powflo and RC Calypso rim to give it a much more modern look because the owner didn’t like something sharp or the Harley’s old-school style. What’s haunting us was how to prompt out the best handling of the 300 mm tires. How can handling perform average when this ride possesses exceptional amount of power? In this ride, we did it. When it comes to handling, we use 140/70R 18 Avon tire in the front along with Avon cobra 300/35R 18 rear tire, in addition, with the handle bar riser length set in the stock form, therefore, the actual road feedback doesn’t sacrifice much with the 6 degree rake triple tree. As for the rear air suspension, we can not only adjust the flexibility to maintain comfort but also enhance sportiness with a little tuning. The defect is that it requires a pressure gauge and a pressure lift switch, which with the already compact body style there isn’t much space for installation. At last, we decided to locate them in front of the gas tank. Despite the fact that this ride uses the German Thunder bike rear fender kit, we intensify the interior for the convenience of double seating. As for propulsion, we use Cobra FI2000R CVT air/fuel management with Cobra air intake system and REVO 5” exhaust which is very suitable for high horsepower output. Since the upgrade of the propulsion, we advance the cooling system by introducing REVO thicker radiator, 2012 clutch pad and disk, and REVO Hydraulic Clutch Cylinder Kit. Additionally, the details of the arrangement on German and Taiwanese headlight and hidden turn signal lights… etc. have designed to match the overall smooth styling and remain 109’s rounded modeling. 2014 REVO CHIRSTMAS SALES!
