RIP..... RICHARD KIEL Wednesday, September 10, 2014 FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Richard Kiel, who became famous for portraying the villain Jaws in James Bond movies, has died. Kiel starred in dozens of movies over the span of 50 years, though his Jaws character became a film icon when he debuted in 1977s The Spy Who Loved Me. Jaws made a return appearance in Moonraker. Kiel also made an appearance with Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore. Kiel had broken his leg last week and was in a hospital in Fresno. Hes lived in Fresno County for several years. A family member says he passed away this afternoon in a Fresno hospital. Richard Kiel was 74 years old.
