RNZWCS Limited (Rotary New Zealand) rnzwcs.org has a growing programme team to support its partners’ work in Africa, South Asia and the Pacific. Rotary New Zealand is seeking expressions of interest from qualified international development practitioners/contractors who ascribe to the principles of service above self. Our Programme Team members provide Rotary New Zealand and its partners with expertise in a range of thematic and cross-cutting issues. Location and hours are flexible, and some international travel may be required. Our contractors · Have an in-depth understanding of Rotary New Zealand’s Activity Cycle Management · Understand the basics of NZAP funding e.g. key ACM steps and financial recording · Conceptualise, design, implement and deliver Rotary/NZAP and other donor supported activities and programmes · Understand concepts of stakeholder analysis, stakeholder management, situation analysis and needs assessment, · Are conversant with the ACM technical and process tools · Have an understanding of Rotary’s core activities including: Sustainable economic and community development Disease prevention and treatment Water and sanitation Maternal and child health Basic education and literacy Peace and conflict prevention/resolution Our contractors understand · Cross-cutting issues (e.g. good governance and human rights, environment) and specific assessment tools (e.g. economic and financial analysis). · Results framework approach · The basic tools for activity development. · Programming activities: work plan and budget · Funding opportunities and application procedures · Evolution of the activity cycle · Managing contractual relationships and methods during activity lifecycle. · Activity appraisal and analysis · Cost benefit analysis · Results based management · Working plans, budgets, identifying partners, design documents · Implementing monitoring, and evaluation systems.
