ROAD CLOSURES IN THE NEAR FUTURE: WOOLLOONGABBA - STANLEY STREET (STANLEY STREET SERVICE ROAD) 07:40 PM 13/07/2013 Stanley Street, Woolloongabba - At the Gabba Stadium. 15 minute parking restrictions apply. Event Starting: 13 July, at 7:40pm. Event Completion: 13 July, at 10:15pm. All directions. Partial lane closures. Allow extra travel time. The Brisbane Lions v North Melbourne Kangaroos AFL game will be held at the Gabba on Saturday 13th July from 7:40pm. Traffic congestion may be experienced on Stanley St, Vulture St, and Ipswich Rd from 6:10pm on match day. Motorists on the Pacific Motorway may also experience congestion from this time at the northbound Stanley St exit 2 and Stanley St onramp and southbound across the Captain Cook Bridge to the Vulture St exit 2 and Stanley St onramp. Road closures will be in place approximately 45 minutes before the end of the event on Stanley St, Main St and Vulture St. Motorists attending the event should also be aware of the 15 minute parking restriction that applies to the Gabba Traffic Area on match days.
