***ROADWORKS*** Dominick St Lwr, from Parnell St to Bolton St, will be closed until Wed 15th Oct. This is to facilitate Luas Cross City works. The Clonshaugh Rd will be closed between the Cloghran R/A and Baskin Lane until Sun 2nd Nov. Diversions will be in place via Baskin Lane and the Malahide Rd (R107). This is to facilitate works. From midnight, Hollybrook Rd and Hollybrook Park will be closed 24/7 until Fri 24th Oct for works. A stop/ go system will be in place on Blackthorn Drive today. Church Rd will be closed from East Rd jct to Killan Rd jct until midnight Fri 19th Dec for works. Pedestrian and local access will be maintained. Granby Place will be closed from the Parnell Square West jct to Dominick Place for works until Wed 15th Oct. Pedestrian and local access will be maintained. Works will take place on Blackthorn Drive, Carmanhall and Blackthorn Rd until Dec. New Wapping St (from Sheriff St Upper to Mayor St Upper), will be closed until midnight on Fri 24th Oct for works. Abercorn Rd is closed until Fri 24th Oct from Church St East jct to Sheriff St jct for works. Diversions will be in place. ***NEWLANDS CROSS*** Motorists travelling on the N7 Naas Rd should take note of the following changes to the new road layout at Newlands Cross from Mon 15th Sept at 6am. Outbound between the Red Cow Interchange and Newlands Cross, bus lane restrictions will be temporarily lifted and traffic will shift left, into the bus lane. Three lanes will remain open for outbound traffic. Inbound, between J2 Kingswood and Newlands Cross, the bus lane will no longer be available to all motorists and will return to normal use as a bus lane. Three lanes will remain open: two lanes to the left of the flyover and one lane to the right. The two left lanes can be used to access the M50 and to turn left for Boot Rd and Fonthill Rd. Motorists wishing to turn right for Belgard Rd must use the right lane. All lanes will cater for N7 Naas Rd city bound traffic. ***M50 WORKS*** On the M50 northbound, the slip road and left lane of the on ramp at J13 Sandyford will be closed from 10pm tonight until 6am Tuesday (7th). On the M50 southbound, the slip road of the off ramp at J12 Firhouse will be closed from 10pm until 6am Tuesday (7th). From 10pm until 6am Tuesday (7th), there will be a number of works taking place at J3 M1 on the M50. The freeflow slip from the M1 southbound onto the M50 southbound and also the left lane from the M50 northbound onto the M1 Interchange will be closed. Diversions will be in place. ***LUAS CROSS CITY*** Luas Cross City works on Dawson St will be on-going at various locations on Dawson St until the end of the year. Traffic is down to one lane along the street from the St Stephen’s Green jct to South Anne St jct. Dawson St will remain open to traffic and car parks in the area will be accessible, however those using the route as a through way should consider the new right turn on Merrion Row to avoid delays. A 24 hour tow truck will be in operation to ensure traffic movement. Visit the Luas Cross City website for full details.
