ROBERT DOWNER Creative Director/Choreographer Having trained at the Ballet Rambert School in London and previously Arts educational school. With subjects that ranged from Ballet to Contemporary Dance from singing through to theatre production. Robert then enhanced his skills and education with film school which included film production through to lighting design for both film and theatre industries he has worked for Companies such as the Ballet Rambert Company London, The English National Opera and the Royal Dutch ballet company. Robert then turned to more commercial work, working with artists such as Michael Jackson and friends on his world tour and Whitney Houston, and a wide range of English and Global superstars. After a fabulous career as a dancer, Robert has now been Creative Directing and Choreographing for many years, using in his shows his whole dynamic range of dance experience, with Acrobatic skills acquired as a Gymnast and Kung-fu/Karate skills which are also used for Films/Theatre as Fight choreography and Jousting with heavy broad swords in combat choreography. Robert has been working with some of the best and biggest names in the industry on varying and multi complex productions with Air acrobats, to underwater shows, Working with Gymnast, Dancers Contortionist, Stunt Motor bike riders, on Music videos for many world artist, working in areas ranging from Musical to shows and events to film and TV, fashion and other dynamic productions, bringing a power creative direction and dance style to their performance and directing complex dance, fight and Underwater scenes. With Robert’s film and editing skills he has merged all these techniques together to create a new generation of shows using all the latest film techniques from CGI to 3D,to green screen combining these technologies to create stunning theatre shows and events.
