RULING PEOPLES PARTY LOOSING VALUE AND MORE POROUS AS ELECTIONS APPROACH. Malawi president Banda ruling Peoples Party seem to continue loosing focus and direction as we approach to elections.Despite the fact that the party is loosing more members and popularity each passing day,President Banda seems to be out of ideas and her party becoming more porous than it was we can reveal. Assessment made in several parts of Malawi has showed that most Malawians are no more in love with President Bandas Peoples party for her empty ,senseless and loud foul mouthing, poor policies and style of leadership which they feel has no impact on improving their well being and the country at large. Most Malawians approached have referred to cash gate,lack of maize in ADMARC depots,worsened security situation and political handouts or political motivated developments cum initiatives centered to benefit only her orange followers as main reasons why they feel Peoples party is loosing value as many Malawians are left aside with their demands never met leaving them with no option but blacklisting the already dead living party. In addition,a certain section of Malawians has made it clear that the way the ruling elite conducted its primary elections whereby some members were being favored by senior party official has left the party with factions as some members have felt being sidelined and opted to contest in the coming elections as independents a move which has made the party inner circles apart and likely to split the votes which once belonged to their camp. As a fact,the dropping of the incumbent state vice president as anticipated running mate has also left a big gap in the peoples party and reduced the chances of the party to gain more votes in the northern region of Malawi where Khumbo Kachali hails from. On the bad note,this is coming at a time that two other party vice presidents from the central and southern province resigned from their duties and the party for its poor policies ,favoritism and undemocratic leadership style, a development which has seen other influential and political giants leaving the party. Analyzing the makeup of the Peoples Party, honestly, this is the party in the Intensive Care Unit and full of trashes from top to the bottom and gradually it is continuing to battle for its political muscles whiles on the death bed using the state machinery and the incumbency few months to the elections. A huge test is ahead for the ruling Party where history is to be made that for the first time, a ruling party has been in power for only 2 years as the morale and the value of the party is continuing to fade with the influx of its party loyalists opting for the opposing political side.
