RUNNING FOR PAWS! We are very happy to announce that Stefanos Ntousis and Zak Simo from our island will be running the historical Athens/Marathon on 9 November for PAWS and the strays of Paros. Its a difficult race with many uphills for 42 kilometers. For Stefanos its the first time and he has already sustained injuries. The race begins in Marathon at 9am and closes in Athens at 5 pm. Both Zak and Stefanos expect to complete the race in under 4 hours - the record being a bit over 2 hours, so we have two determined and devoted runners! You can send an initial donation and then place your bets and up the donation if either of them make it in under 3.30 hours!
