Ball shaped objects might not be a good idea - Son was a killer pitcher Puts apples back in fruit bowl Grab cups - a whole load of caffeine might be needed today - better drink it right Assess booty stash of coins - parking, vending machines & games Notebook & working pens. Map to hospital and surrounding area Steal Hubsters toll tag Sit and wait - watch a movie in the bedroom Fall asleep Wake up in dark Race to where mobile should be Cant find mobile 3am Do the shit, shit where the hell is it? panic slide across slippery tile floor Hurts knee, Jump around holding knee, biting lip in pain, while trying to dial mobile from land line. Mobile ringtone can be heard from my bedside table Do the shit, shit, shit scurry hobble to bedroom Silence phone as Hubster rolls over, still sleeping sweetly with regular sheets. Phew. Wonder Hubster had put phone next to bed. A.... Check phone messages Nothing Blink, blink, blink Check facebook, Expectant couple status - sent home to spend early labour hours there. Make a cup of tea Proceed with normal life.
