Rain once again resulted in the cancellation of Friday night action at Callaway Raceway in Fulton, MO. Saturday night resulted in the strongest run, though not finish for Lapp Racing at Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, MO. In heat race action Chris started 6th and set a blazing pace to win the heat. Starting on the pole for the feature Vance Wilson and Chris had a close race for the win for 16/20 laps before a broken fan/water pump belt caused Chris to have to pull to the pits. With the help of everyone in the pits the belt was changed and Chris returned to the track, though then a lap down. Unable to overcome the one lap deficit Chris settled for a 12th place finish. Thanks to everyone who helped get a new belt on the car, and to everyone that showed their support after the races. Lapp Racing will return to action at Callaway Raceway in Fulton Friday August 2nd.
