Ran into an old co-worker today. Worked with him for a few years and was close to him at one time. He is seeing things rough right now. Im sure he has made choices in his life that brought him these consequences. It still doesnt change the fact that I care for this man as a friend. He was one of the few who came to my baptism and was a true friend at one time. Ive seen him give his last dollar to people in need. Ive seen him take his lunch money and give it to another and countless other good things. Hurts me bad to see him like that. I spoke with him briefly but it was hard to do without getting teary eyed. His need is far beyond what I can do for him. I pray for him to get his life straightened out soon. I know he was a Godly man at one time.... Sad day for me....
