Random Thought Of The Day: I had a good conversation with a guy I met for the first time today. He was a contractor. He told me that life is sometimes like a cake. I thought about it for a bit. Flour by itself is dry. Sugar by itself is too sweet. If I eat a raw egg, Ill throw up. Butter eaten by itself grosses me out. Vanilla flavoring by itself is too strong and nasty. But if you take all those ingredients and mix them in a bowl with the right sequence and you add the right amount of heat for the right amount of time, theres a strong possibility that you can have something really good. Such is our lives. We all have different ingredients (circumstances) that are mixed in our batter (life). Some circumstances are as bitter as salt. Some circumstances are as sweet as honey. Some circumstances we think arent needed and we try to eliminate them, but without those situations our batter (life) is incomplete and the cake might not rise. Whether good or bad, some things just cant be avoided. Those ingredients have to be added to the batter we call life. What might be considered not needed may be the very thing thats needed the most to make your cake rise when you are in the oven of reality. Include all the ingredients of your life so the finished product turns out what it is intended to be.
